Midsomer Norton South.
Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway.
14th July 2018.

General overview of the station.

The station building.

The goods shed.

End of the line. Beyond the wall the bridge that once
carried the line over the road has been demolished.

Midsomer Norton South signal box and goods wagons.

The view down the line.

Due to the fire risk the steam loco couldn't be used, so the 08 shunter worked the train.

The centre's Sentinel steam loco is an interesting and unusual locomotive
sadly, it was hidden from view in the yard.

A similar, though not identical, loco can be seen at Sandford and Banwell station.

Some out of use signals along the line.

The current end the line. Beyond the stop board track laying for an extension is in progress.
