Built in 1905 No.2807 is the oldest surviving privately owned GWR locomotive,
only the National Collection's City of Truro and Dean Goods are older.

2807 is the oldest surviving Churchward designed locomotive and the oldest surviving
British 2-8-0. The 28xx class were the first 2-8-0's built in Britain.
